OMSAN Logistics aims to contribute to competitiveness in Turkish Logistics with newly developed truck simulator.

OMSAN Logistics has presented “Safe and Economic Driving Simulator” in Logitrans Transport Logistics Exhibition at İstanbul Exhibition Center in November 15t-17th 2012 which under “Optimal Environment and Green Energy Friendly Drive Training Applications and Model Development Based on Eco-New Simulation” project supported by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Development and İstanbul Development Agency.
The visitors had found the chance to test driving simulator during the exhibition. With the simulator, it is aimed to make more experienced commercial truck drivers with efficient drive for fuel consumption and less toxic gas out to environment, decrease the traffic accidents and truck load failures.

The OMSAN General Manager Osman Küçükertan had mentioned OMSAN got proud of leading and bringing new technologies to logistics market in many fields since OMSAN establishment in the opening ceremony. Mr. Küçükertan completed his words with thanks and respects to sponsors Renault Trucks, TIRSAN, Baktaç, Servis One, LOHR, KaTron, Michelin ve AS24 companies which are leading in their field of market.
Driver Training is starting
A possible but unexpected accidents and dangerous rare events can be repeated safe and risk free in simulator training. The correctness of the balanced load for trucks can also be simulated which is critical for environmental pollution. The drivers can become more experienced by risk free and preventative simulator training.
After examining the driver habits on simulator, theoretical and practical simulator trainings will be used for driver improvements. The simulator training with different environment conditions (rainy, snowy, cloudy, foggy, etc.) will be followed by class instructions for drivers by OMSAN trainers. By that, drivers will be trained with real life driving experience as close in driving simulators.

OMSAN Simulator will disseminate to Turkey for all commercial truck drivers serving under a social responsibility and will aim Turkey will be the globally competitive player in the logistics after OMSAN truck drivers trainings have completed. The sample driving training region will be Istanbul Territory.
